About the Institute

Our Company

The Georgia Water and Wastewater Institute (GWWI) is a subsidiary of the Georgia Association of Water Professionals. GWWI is dedicated to improving professional ability through training. All courses are State Certification Board approved for basic training, advanced training, and recertification points.

The Georgia Water and Wastewater Institute is a member of the Association of Boards of Certification, The Coalition of Environmental Training Centers, The National Environmental Training Association, The Water Environment Federation, The American Water Works Association, and is a corporate member of the Georgia Association of Water Professionals.

History

In January of 1999, the Board of Directors of GWWI re-evaluated the operations and management of the Institute and elected to make several changes.

The most significant was redirecting the management of the Institute which was placed under the supervision of the Executive Director of the Georgia Association of Water Professionals.

 

GWWI has also undergone other remarkable changes including building renovations, staff enhancements, and course curriculum updating.
